At Hunter’s Point Community Middle School, our goal is to spark young minds through scholarship, creativity, and community. We believe that each young person has unique talents and perspectives that can be fully developed within a rigorous, inclusive, and equitable setting. We unequivocally support Black lives and the dismantling of all systems that propagate and empower systemic oppression against all marginalized people. Our students are consistently asked to collaborate, think critically, problem-solve, and develop a growth mindset to prepare for college, career, and active engagement in our democratic society.
We are always looking for qualified and certified substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, and school aides. Please contact rguarnaccia@schools.nyc.gov if you are interested in being nominated to be a substitute or if you have a file # and are looking to work with us.
