At Hunter’s Point Community Middle School, our goal is to spark young minds through scholarship, creativity, and community. We believe that each young person has unique talents and perspectives that can be fully developed within a rigorous, inclusive, and equitable setting. We unequivocally support Black lives and the dismantling of all systems that propagate and empower systemic oppression against all marginalized people. Our students are consistently asked to collaborate, think critically, problem-solve, and develop a growth mindset to prepare for college, career, and active engagement in our democratic society.

Full Time Teaching Positions:
Special Education/ICT - Grades 6/7/8 (May be in Social Studies, ELA, Math, or Science Classrooms)
General Education Math - Grades 7/8
General Education ELA - Grade 6
General Education Science - Grade 7/8 (pending available funding)
Potential Full Time Administrative Position (pending available funding)
Assistant Principal - We anticipate a 12 month position that will include at least one core teaching assignment along with an Advisory
Potential Part Time Positions (pending available funding, may be combined with positions below or above to create a full time position)
Health Teacher (must be licensed), Spanish Teacher, Dance Teacher, Technology Teacher/Coordinator, Vocal Teacher, and positions TBD.
